Osama Bin Laden is suspected to have had a major role in the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 in which the World Trade Center was taken down and crashing a plane into the Pentagon.  He is a known American Terrorist and has numerous terrorist training camps.  He is referred to as the most dangerous person in the world.   For  years the Taliban have given asylum to exiled Saudi millionaire Osama bin Laden. 

Osama Bin Laden is the 17th of 52 children born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.  His father would come to own Saudi Arabia’s largest construction company.  His mother is said to be the least regarded on his father's many wives.  Bin laden is said to have 10 wives himself. 

He is approximately 6'5" tall, 160 pounds, and walks with a cane.  He is known to use the following Aliases: Usama Bin Muhammad Bin Ladin, Shaykh Usama Bin Ladin, the Prince, the Emir, Abu Abdallah, Mujahid Shaykh, Hajj, the Director.  He has used some of his estimated $250 million inheritance to build al Qaeda into a worldwide organization supporting terrorists in Afghanistan, Bosnia, Chechnya and Kenya, according to U.S. officials.

A Man Without a Home

Exiled from Saudi Arabia in 1991 for his support of terrorist groups, bin Laden moved to the Sudan, where he invested millions of dollars and offered jobs to the country's desperately poor citizens. After years of continued criticism of the Saudi royal family, his own family disowned him.  In 1996, Sudan, under pressure to expel known terrorists, also exiled bin Laden. He then moved back to Afghanistan and started building terrorist training camps to develop an alliance of terrorist groups intent on an international holy war.

He has an astonishingly complex network in more than 60 countries and has planted safe houses in 20 more - including the United States.   Court documents accuse him of maintaining ties to anti-American governments in Iran, Iraq, and the Sudan.
